Written by Phil LaMarche (author of the short story "In the Tradition of My Family"), the novel was first published in April 2007 and was nominated for a Quill Award in General Fiction. The Los Angeles Times Book Review wrote "Nothing less than a masterpiece... one of the most savagely beautiful, emotionally devastating and accurate readings of what it means to grow up." 7-JANUARY-2008 Director Todd Davis was on a panel at the Boston Branch of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Conservatory called "On The Set." Joined by director Chris Sparling and AD David Chapman, the panel discussed the roles and operation of a movie set.
